Yesterday we drove through the Grand Teton National Park with the most beautiful weather possible. We had to pass three times the Continental Divide (Continental Divide of the Americas ) to get there. A special event was the grizzly mom (not Palin) with her cups roaming next to the highway. The day before I was reading about this in the msnbc online news. (Read the story here) And now I have pictures too.
Unfortunately the Whitefish/Glacier National Park KOA is restricting the bandwidth use of the internet so I cannot upload the pictures yet, but they will come….. Just check in again or RSS the page!
Today we drove 400 miles through the unbelievably gorgeous landscape of western Montana up to Kalispell, with the intend to visit tomorrow Glacier National Park. Hopefully the weather is better tomorrow, it is raining right now.
As a special treat I will visit tomorrow morning (5 am) the Back Home Bakery (Mark’s Home Page). Mark indicated that there will be some fresh croissants for me, THE BEST CROISSANTS WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI!! (maybe also east).
And here are the pictures:

And that's how a delux campsite for 80 bucks looks like, I guess they can ask for that because the campground was completely booked
